The Noble May Licence Opportunity

Thank you for your interest: I’m George May Managing Director: I have always been a ‘get to the point’ person so I’ll keep this as brief as possible.

I’ve been a corporate consultant for over 25 years to 100’s of multinationals here, in the USA, Canada, Asia, Europe and NZ as such this I know for certain:

In there are few Australian industries that will be stable & profitable into the future

The quote below is the reality of where EVERY business person now finds ourselves every morning:

“In times of change the learners will inherit the earth, while the ‘knowers’ will find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists”

Any company doing the same thing today as they were at the beginning of the year is in trouble!

Competitors across Australia and the World aren’t standing still – any company not ceaselessly thinking on skills development and marketing methodologies will slowly be eaten away ( How easy is it for buyers to find and compare products and price on the Net today)

As such: Marketing corporate training/ coaching / seminars is one of the few stable growth Industries.

As times get tougher the only businesses that will grow and indeed in many cases survive are those who improve skills and stop to sharpen the axe.

The days of making money going along with the flow of growth and skill mediocrity are long gone!

As example: I have not met a salesperson in the past 3 years who is equipped with the skill set to handle selling to today’s highly aware clients!

They are all still using outdated rubbish techniques which drive today’s prospects into a negative decision mode about them, their company and product

is not 1970 and yet ALL sales training techniques are based on rehashing the same old same old ineffective rubbish such as Closing Skills, Answering Objections. Trial Closes and such which today’s prospect INSTANTLY sees as manipulation.

Better to teach salespeople good manners and leave them alone!

Out Influencing with Integrity teaches HOW NOT TO SELL! We have sold it to EVERY company presented in the past 6 years. The only paradigm shift in Skills since the 60’s

Why consider corporate training / coaching?

If I were looking at any investment of time or money, especially in this challenging economic environment I would want to know the answer to the six questions below before wasting any time and energy on progressing:

  1. One of the best indicators of future success is the past – show me the track record.
  2. Why will this work when almost every business is tightening budgets and uncertain about the future?
  3. What’s my total investment and risk – what skill level do I need?
  4. How much can I make relative to my time and money invested?
  5. Just how experienced, capable and smart are the senior people of this business?
  6. Why are you licensing in this economy?

I think that’s a good start – the answers may need further expansion

1. Show me the track record.

Results are what matters- The following is the most accurate statement I can make relative to this.

“During the past 10  years where myself or one of our senior people have presented our programs to companies in Australia, the USA, Asia and New Zealand, over 95% have purchased one or more of them. In fact, we can only recall 3 instances in our last 100 presentations where we haven’t sold one or more of our programs.”

Our client acceptance is outstanding BECAUSE OUR PROGRAMS Work and Last!  from sole traders to multinationals such as KPMG, American Express, Virgin Blue, Diners Club, Mercedes, and major Australian businesses such as Raine & Horne, Hunter Douglas, NRMA and the University of Queensland.

Having spent years promoting our programs overseas in the USA, Europe and Asia, we are completely convinced that three of our programs are the most effective available anywhere in the World – Influencing with Integrity, Team DNA  & The Art of War

2. Why will this business work in today’s economic climate?

There are some industries that are doing well due to the economic environment. Fast food, groceries (people eating out less at restaurants – cooking at home more). My Accountant tells me he is flat out and can’t take any more business. He is astonished that his client’s major focus has become managing loss and succession management (problems with bad debt, tax, GST etc).

It is the same with many solicitors who specialise in family law, bankruptcy, insolvency etc.

Consulting is another area of business that’s doing well today.  Many companies don’t want to hire permanent people with all of the associated costs, preferring to get help from outside specialists on a “set price - get it done - go away till we need you again” model.

While many businesses may be downsizing, our experience is that they want their people to be as effective as possible. Team building and corporate culture change are high on the priority want list of many senior managers. It also comes as a major shock to management that many of their salespeople are simply not equipped with the skill level to deal with today’s highly aware clients in this environment.

For many businesses, it’s either get a lot better at effectively promoting their products or services - or go under.

3. What’s my total investment and risk?

We don’t believe in big upfront fees. Our full package of training, accommodation, airfares, advertising materials, marketing, online prospect base of 40,000 potential clients etc is $22,820.00 with a  money back guarantee  if you decide  during the training that the program is not for you.

We are only interested in positive, long term win / win relationships of mutual benefit. One of the best things about our industry is the high net from gross. Typically, around 90% of a training course is net profit.

4. What skill level do I need?

You will need to be comfortable dealing with middle to senior management in the corporate world, be able to lead a group from a set format, be confident in providing say a small business owner with a 1 -2 hour coaching session from a manual and such.

Your previous experience will be invaluable.  We have clients in almost every field & industry… pharmaceutical, financial services, hospitality, automotive etc etc. I have no doubt that a person could spend most of their activity specialising in an industry – I spent around 5 years working exclusively with pharmaceutical companies.

One of the best people we ever had was an accountant who had never sold anything in his life. We taught him how to sell our way - after his presentations, many clients would comment on his selling skills - and he secured dozens of major clients.

5. What can I make?

The one sure thing I know about success is that it takes lots of work… I often tell salespeople we wake up unemployed every morning.

Making money is about having the right vehicle to do so with a product / service that is value, where there are lots of potential clients with the money, authority to buy and a genuine need.

Your level of success will depend on lots of things: how good you are at what you do, you’re past business experience, the contacts you have, the effort you put in… all of the things that only you can control.

I can give you guestimates on what I would expect – but let me make this VERY CLEAR, I have no idea of your skill level and commitment level and as such, this is a rough guestimate.

We will give you the best sales training in the world; paradigm shift methodologies that major companies have paid tens of $1000’s for, we will give you prospects with contact numbers / names etc, as well as, the sales and promotion methods that have worked for us and ongoing support and help.

With all of that and more - I again stress these projections, are NOT any form of guarantee.  I have worked too long in the USA with all its crazy litigation to be anything less than very cautious about projections.

Sales can be from $200 for an individual attending a public seminar to over $50,000 for an Influencing with Integrity or Language of Selling seminar to a major corporate..

We have a superb range of very successful, well thought out products, all created from the ‘find a need and fill it’ paradigm ... a bit like having Scooters, Minis, Commodores, Mercedes and Mac trucks all in one dealership.

This is what I’d expect effort to return

Contacting say 10 companies a day for Team DNA or The Art of War – typically by phone to the HR / sales manager followed up with a PDF email.

My experience is that most managers are actively looking for something new & different that actually teaches something worthwhile for their conference or training events. The Art of War & Team DNA are the best door openers I’ve ever seen in corporate training.

50 contacts per week should produce say 5 good leads - Selling 1 in 5 should be relatively easy.

Sales could be from $1,500 to $20,000? depending on the number of participants.

We always received lots of referrals from participants with these programs.

Same sort of conversion ratio with Skills & Habits – make 10 calls a day, pitching say 2 should result in at least 3 sales a week – the  complete program is sold for only $4,820.00.

Licensees make an average of $2,000.00 per sale.

I have never worked out my average when teaching The Language of Selling or Influencing with Integrity – conservatively it’s around $5,000 per training day.

Other income is made from coaching Skills & Habits to small business at around $220 / hour.

We have at least 10 other income streams – too many to detail here.

In this economic climate, today’s clients are highly aware, they want materials that are not only new and different – they want products that work and last.

Our programs are proven tools for a long term, ethical, interesting and stable income stream and future.

5. Just how experienced, capable and smart are the senior people of this business?

Please: if you Google - George May DO NOT get me confused with a George S May who is in marketing in the USA and always seems to be in strife – I’m George Noble May.

As to myself – I have been teaching sales / management / team building skills since I was promoted to the trainer of the trainees in Melbourne with Xerox in 1972.  I was with Xerox in their glory years. The skills gained there were a great base on which I built a number of substantial and successful businesses in varied industries in Australia, Asia, NZ and the USA.

At age 28, I left the industry as a national sales manager, staring my first training business.

Most of my business life has been in Australia. I spent around 12 yrs in the USA, Asia, Europe and NZ teaching our programs.

On one trip to the USA for 4 days, I ended up staying 4 years! selling to dozens of major companies such as South West Airlines, Word Perfect, Amway, Hilton, Mercedes Freightliner and ending up in partnership with the business person of the year.

I’m the author of two bestselling business books on sales and management and have written many hundreds of training modules.

As an individual, it’s unlikely that any other person in Australia’s corporate history has sold training to as many multinationals, especially in the USA, as I have.

I also won a major training contract with the Malaysian government against most of the World’s largest training companies – 18 made presentations.  I went over on my own and secured the business.

I spent two years working out how to teach deliberately what top producers do instinctively - before presenting it to my first client, Hunter Douglas, training over 400 people across Australia the to many 1000’s across the World.

Most of my business life has been focused on training and internet marketing.

6. Why are we licensing in this economy?

There are tens of thousands of prospects for our material and programs

In 100 lifetimes, we can’t cover Australia and NZ far less the rest of the world, which is why I’ve decided to licence the programs.

At one stage we had so many referrals and seminars booked for The Art of War, I made the decision to stop promoting it for over two years

Based on our experiences and feedback from clients, I do genuinely believe that we have the most effective training programs for selling and team building and implementing corporate culture change, available anywhere in the World. These could never have come from the USA as their entire paradigm of doing business is so different to ours.

In the past, I have owned businesses with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle, Wagga, Griffith, Orange, Mudgee, Dubbo and Townsville… It’s a HUGE country and trying to manage staff and activity over distance is a nightmare that I will never do again.

There would be 10,000 potential clients in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and other capitals that we would never get to see.

Towns like Port Douglas where there are lots of hotels have potential for  ‘Art of War” themed company conferences. Country locations such as Albury / Geelong have lots of local business/ government/ clubs etc … (my first territory with Xerox was Geelong and I wrote lots of business there)

It’s all about being local, being able to say “I’m able to see you on Tuesday” and not having to fly 1,000 km to do it.

There are other benefits:

  • Licensees will create a national network where we can say to a client ‘John in Perth will look after your people there”.
  • All can benefit if a client’s branch office in one city buys, licensees can communicate to generate business from each other’s sales.
  • Synergy is a wonderful thing – lots of expertise and good marketing ideas will flow from having smart people on board.
  • It will be a lot of fun and a positive thing to build a network of like-minded win / win people.
  • Success breeds success - our client base will grow, referrals will grow, more and more people will be aware of what we do – we will all make more money.

This should give you a fair idea of what we do. For more information, email me at george@noblemay.com.au or call me on 0418 115668

Let me say this... I’m not a time waster. If there was not very high potential for both of us to make money, help others and have a good time doing it, I just wouldn’t bother.

I’m very happy to share my success and I look forward to having a group of capable, motivated people to work with.

All the best

George May
